TECHNICAL AND STEERING COMMETTEE

Stutggart – 14-15th May 2014

The first NEWSPEC Technical Committee and Steering Committee meetings were held in Denkendorf (Germany), organised by the German Institutes for Textile and Fibre Research Denkendorf (DITF). DITF – core partner of WP2 – is a research establishment which brings its extensive experience in synthesis and modification of fibres from natural and synthetic polymers and makes available to the project its High Performance Fibre Centre (HPFC) pilot line.

During the meeting the activities carried out in the last 6-month period have been presented, with relevant achievements and critical issues, so that a detailed Action Plan could be decided for the coming months. Also, the NEWSPEC consortium was honoured to participate to the opening event of the new HPFC carbon fibres line.
